Land Clearing

When left alone, land quickly becomes overgrown with brush and small trees. This reduces usability and can also be an eyesore. For even modestly-sized areas, hand clearing with tools from your local hardware store just isn’t feasible.

We use a Dennis Cimaf 180D forestry mulching attaching to clear land, making quick work of brush, trees up to 12 inches in diameter, and other vegetation. Everything gets broken down into a fine mulch that returns nutrients to your soil. Cleared of the clutter, your property will have a neat, park-like appearance.

Trail Cutting

Creating trails is a great way to expand recreational opportunities on your land. Whether you’re interested in trail riding, dirt bikes, or side-by-sides, trails give you additional ways to enjoy your outdoor space year-round. Sometimes you also just need to improve access to part of your land.

Our forestry mulching process is especially well-suited to creating trails. One piece of relatively-small equipment is able to handle everything from brush removal to tree removal of trees up to a foot in diameter. As it does so, it turns this material into a rich mulch, meaning clearing and clean up are accomplished in one step.

You’re left with a clear path and a nicely-mulched surface, ready to enjoy.

Site Prep

Properly clearing land is a crucial part of a construction project. Whether it is a residential construction site or a commercial development, tree and brush clearing is usually necessary.

We have the right equipment for the job and understand your need to move quickly and stay on schedule with your project. Our forestry mulching machine will turn vegetation into fine mulch that can remain on site, eliminating the need to haul away debris. You save time and money while following sustainable development practices.

A construction project isn’t the only thing that requires clearing land. If you are looking to expand your farming operation on new acreage, we can also help you clear the ground while retaining vital nutrients for your crop.

How our process works

  • Free land analysis and quote

We’ll start with an appointment to discuss your needs, evaluate your site, and give you a detailed quote. We offer monthly payment options to allow you to move forward with your project in a way that fits your budget.

  • Land clearing

Shrubs, brush, smaller trees, and other vegetation will be efficiently and thoroughly cleared from your property using our professional equipment.

We use a Caterpillar 299D3 XE compact track loader with a Dennis Cimaf 180D forestry mulching attachment. The compact equipment won’t tear up your land. Depending upon the type of ground and density of growth, we can clear as many as ___ acres in a day.

  • You’re ready!

With our forestry mulching process, cutting and processing of material happens in one step and leaves behind a rich, fine mulch that enhances the site. It isn’t necessary to haul away branches, stumps, logs, or other debris, which means you can make use of your land right away for whatever’s next.

How much do land-clearing services cost?

You probably know there is no simple answer to this question, but we're guessing you are trying to get a ballpark sense of the costs. Keep in mind that the price for your brush-clearing, land-preparing, or trail-cutting project will depend upon many factors. Here are some of the key ones:

  • Size of area to be cleared: Generally speaking, a larger area will take more time and therefore cost more. However, you can't take this in isolation. The following factors also have a big impact.
  • Density and type of vegetation: The kind of plant growth you need to deal with makes a big difference. A small tree can be ground up pretty quickly while larger trees take more time. A field that only has brush and other smaller plants is easier to clear than ground with trees and tree stumps. When trees are present, the number of trees per acre is an important factor.
  • Terrain: A flat surface is easier to clear than uneven ground or steep slopes.
  • Keeping these factors in mind, here's an example to give you some idea of what to expect. Clearing a one-acre lot of level ground covered in brush and a number of smaller trees (6 inches or smaller) would cost between $___ and $___. Again, this is only a general figure and every project is unique.
